Your Donations: A Force for Good
When you donate to Goodwill Southeast Georgia, your actions become a driving force for good. Goodwill Southeast Georgia is a local, non-profit social enterprise, meaning it exists to give back! This non-profit is deeply rooted in our local community, with the sale of donated goods reinvested to support five local Opportunity Centers in Savannah, Statesboro, Brunswick, Waycross and Jesup. All centers are home to essential workforce development programs.
Dress for Success: Changing Lives, One Outfit at a Time
Your donated clothing can be the key to unlocking a brighter future for someone in need—perhaps even providing attire for a crucial job interview! Watch the short video below to see the impact of your clothing donations.
Empowering Through Workforce Development
Donated goods find their way to Goodwill Southeast Georgia retail stores, where every purchase goes towards funding free workforce development and skills training at five regional Opportunity Centers. These centers, located in Savannah, Statesboro, Waycross, Jesup, and Brunswick, empower your neighbors to access mid-wage jobs and build lasting careers.
Changing Lives in 2023
So far in 2023, Goodwill Southeast Georgia's Opportunity Centers have served more than 1,800 individuals and placed 303 into sustainable, mid-wage employment. Your donations are directly contributing to these life-changing outcomes. Visit our YouTube page to watch some recent success stories.
Promoting Sustainability
Goodwill Southeast Georgia is not just about changing lives; it's also about preserving our planet. In 2022 alone, Goodwill Southeast Georgia prevented a staggering 12.5 million pounds of materials from ending up in landfills. Donating to Goodwill extends the life of products, promotes sustainability, and preserves precious resources for future generations—all while creating hundreds of local jobs.
