Brides-to-Be Embrace Their Dream Dresses!
Local brides-to-be are celebrating finding their perfect dress for their special day, thanks to Goodwill Southeast Georgia! Our first formalwear event took place Saturday, March 23 at the Goodwill St. Simons Island Donation Center. Attendees were thrilled to discover discounted wedding and bridesmaid dresses starting from $49, along with a stunning array of prom formalwear, accessories and more.
Goodwill Associates celebrated plenty of happy brides-to-be! Haley Grant says she found her dream dress at the event, and took to Instagram to express her gratitude, saying, “I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the kindness shown to me. It was such a special day for me, and I will never forget it!”
The event featured themed rooms tailored to various occasions, including prom and formal events, attire for the parents of the bride and groom, black and white formalwear, children’s formalwear, and an exclusive accessories room.
The event also offered a glimpse into the future for the donation center. It will soon also be home to The Vault Goodwill boutique, scheduled for its grand opening in May.
Every purchase made at Goodwill supports its mission to create brighter futures for individuals in the community through education and career opportunities. In 2024 alone, Goodwill Southeast Georgia's five Opportunity Centers have already served 865 individuals, with 86 placed in mid-wage, sustainable jobs as of February 2024.

The St. Simons Donation Center is open Monday-Saturday, 9am-7pm, and Sunday 11am-7pm.
