Efforts
Goodwill is working to do its part in the global shift to a circular economy, a system that focuses on waste reduction and resource utilization. The reuse economy is a step towards a more circular economy where reuse, repair and upcycling systems allow products to cycle back into the chain of consumption.
Earth Month 2024
At Goodwill Southeast Georgia, sustainability is a year-round mindset. We call it "The Cycle of Good"! By donating gently-used items to Goodwill, you are giving items a second life and helping promote the circular economy. This Earth Month, we want to challenge you to join in the Cycle of Good by playing Declutter for a Cause bingo! It's easy to get started. Pick up a card at one of our Earth Month events, or save the image below. Starting April 8, you can show your card with a completed "bingo" at Goodwill Southeast Georgia retail stores to receive an Earth Month prize.

Impact
Through job training programs, adult education opportunities and more, our mission advances the idea that no individual is disposable.
When you donate goods to Goodwill, whatever we can’t sell in our stores, we sell in bulk through our aftermarket business and outlet stores. This serves two goals – reducing the impact on landfill and funding our programs to help people achieve a sustainable life.
Our mission and business objectives align with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
