LDSS Buddy Walk
Goodwill Savannah Area Locations,
The UNITY Squad will be participating in the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Buddy Walk 2024 on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Forsyth Park. We are seeking a few volunteers (limited space) to participate and represent Goodwill/UNITY Squad during the event.
We will have a booth at the park for the event, participate in the walk (9:45 AM-11 AM), and then assist at the booth to represent Goodwill after the walk (11 AM—2 PM). The actual walk is around Forsyth Park from 9:45 AM – 11 AM.
If you are interested in volunteering, please see the important notes below:
- Participation in the Buddy Walk is voluntary. There is no obligation to participate, and no work will be required of you.
- If you plan to walk only, your time commitment will tentatively be from 9:30 to 11 AM. on Saturday, October 5th.
- Your time commitment will tentatively be from 9:30 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, October 5th if you plan to assist at the Goodwill Booth.
- To be considered for this volunteer event, you must review and sign the Associate Volunteer Participation Liability Waiver and complete the JotForm by attaching it within the form.
- Complete the JotForm found here: https://form.jotform.com/242554958271162
- JotForm Survey must be completed by 12 PM on 9/24/2024. (Limited number of spots).
- Volunteers are responsible for transportation to and from Forsyth Park.
- Your participation must not conflict with your regular work schedule.
