Richmond Hill Edition Recap
This summer, we’re helping shoppers sip, shop and save at our retail stores. Thursday night, we welcomed nearly 40 shoppers to our Richmond Hill store for the return of our exclusive Sip and Shop experience. The event debuted at our Pooler store earlier this year.
With a purchase of a ticket, shoppers received access to curated racks, appetizers, drinks (wine and our custom, non-alcoholic Goodwill punch!), a limited-edition reusable bag, a behind-the-scenes tour, and more! Every purchase helps to provide tools, training and support to local individuals seeking sustainable employment.
Mystery Bags were a fun, new addition to the Richmond Hill event! These sealed shopping bags were packed with surprise items and priced at a flat rate of $9.99. It was fun to watch shoppers open their bags and see what they got!
Thank you to all the shoppers who joined us. It was great to meet you all and see what Goodwill finds you scored! We hope to see you soon at one of our future events, including our Thrift Crawl in August.
This event is a true shopping experience that takes you to three of our retail store locations, with lots of snacks, sips, transportation, and behind-the-scenes access included. You’ll learn how your purchases fund no-cost skills training to help your neighbors land a sustainable, mid-wage job putting them on a path to a career! Dates and details for the Thrift Crawl will be announced soon. Hope to see you there!
