Our Unity Squad is one of the ways we invite our Associates to join us in this mission—engaging our partners and communities to address critical needs.
The Unity Squad is energized following a great team build opportunity with our friends at Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity. With their expert instruction, we worked together to build the framing for an outdoor storage shed which will be placed on-site at Habitat’s latest home build.
Many of the Unity Squad members appreciated the opportunity to write positive messages on the boards of the home, sending well wishes to the family who will ultimately enjoy the storage shed as part of their new home.
We are proud to stand with Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity in addressing the need for more affordable housing in our community.
Goodwill wants to bridge that gap—and provide the resources needed to make our neighbors' goals attainable . Goodwill now has 6 Opportunity Centers across our region—where anyone can come in and access skills training, educational supports, career exploration, job search assistance and more. Our Opportunity Centers address critical factors like childcare, transportation, and financial management that can stand between individuals and their goals.
Beyond in-house services, we believe in the power of partnerships, (with great organizations just like Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity!), collaborating with community organizations to help individuals access a network of support.
