Connecting people to opportunity is at the heart of Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission, and that commitment was on full display at the recent RISE Job Palooza at Enmarket Arena.
Whether attendees were searching for a new job, exploring a career change, or taking the next step in their professional journey, they found support at the Application Station Powered by Goodwill.
Throughout the event, members of Goodwill’s mission services team worked directly with attendees, providing assistance with:
- Navigating job applications
- Exploring workforce and career resources
- Receiving personalized support
During the event:
- 402 visits were recorded at the Goodwill Mobile Opportunity Center.
- An estimated 105 digital job applications were completed using the 20 laptops provided by Goodwill.
- An additional 27 job seekers completed paper applications and onboarding documents for prospective employment opportunities.
Employment opportunities, training programs, career credentialing pathways, and supportive services were among the most frequently explored topics as attendees worked toward their career goals.
At Goodwill, each participant journey begins with connecting with a Career and Resource Navigator. It’s not just about finding a job; it’s about helping individuals build confidence, access resources, and create a pathway toward long-term career success.
