Goodwill Southeast Georgia is strengthening workforce development across the region with a combined $25,000 investment supporting Savannah Technical College, Ogeechee Technical College, and Coastal Pines Technical College through its Change Round-Up for Education campaign, a customer-supported initiative.
The investment was made possible through donations from shoppers who chose to round up their purchases during Goodwill’s Change Round-Up for Education campaign. Combined with a matching contribution from Goodwill Southeast Georgia, those funds will help Opportunity Center participants access scholarships, credential programs, career coaching, and other support services that prepare them for employment and career advancement.

“Education is one of the most powerful pathways to economic mobility,” said Jason Marshall, President and CEO of Goodwill Southeast Georgia. “These partnerships help individuals access the skills, credentials, and support they need to secure sustainable careers while strengthening the workforce throughout Southeast Georgia.”
Education was the focus of Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s second-quarter Change Round-Up campaign, one of four annual initiatives designed to address key barriers to economic mobility in the region: food security, education, transportation, and childcare.

So far in 2026, Goodwill Southeast Georgia has invested more than $50,000 in local nonprofits, schools, and community organizations through Change Round-Up campaigns and plans to contribute an additional $50,000 before year-end.
