Goodwill Southeast Georgia Closes Stores
Savannah, GA – All 17 Goodwill Southeast Georgia retail stores will close at 6 pm Tuesday March 24. Goodwill hopes to be able to reopen Wednesday, April 1 in most locations. Goodwill continues to monitor and follow the guidance of government and CDC resources.
Customers are encouraged to shop online at Shopgoodwill.com.
All donor locations outside of the City of Savannah will remain open. For safety and convenience, donors can drive up, “POP THE TRUNK” and staff will unload. Donors do not need to leave their automobiles.
Michael Winckler, president and CEO, states “Donations received today will help us ensure our stores can generate the income to support our social service mission in the days and weeks ahead. We know the need for employment support, training and services are be critical and we are committed to filling that need.”
Goodwill’s workforce and career services teams are quickly transitioning to virtual service delivery. Program participants and individuals in need of employment support can call:
