Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is affecting our community.
For Goodwill Southeast Georgia, that means understanding how it affects our associates, customers, and communities, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple goal that guides us: keeping you and our associates safe. With that in mind, we have made several moves in our business.
We have ramped up cleaning services at our stores, donation drop offs and opportunity centers.
Classes and courses in our Opportunity Centers continue as planned. Students will be notified directly if classes need to be postponed or rescheduled. Updated class information will be provided on our website, www.GoodwillSEGA.org
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help reduce the spread of this coronavirus. We have shared specific instructions with our associates on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick.
We will continue to closely watch recommendations from the CDC and local health agencies and do all we can to protect you and our associates.
