The start of a new year always brings fresh opportunities-but 2025 holds something truly special for us at Goodwill Southeast Georgia. This year marks 60 incredible years of service to our local communities!
As we countdown to our official anniversary on April 25, we’re taking time to reflect on the
impact we’ve made since 1965 and share our exciting vision for the future.
As a nonprofit, Goodwill operates as a series of regional affiliates operated by a local board of directors. Since Goodwill Southeast Georgia is a locally operated organization, our services and programs are unique to the needs of our shared community.
We’ve been excited to see tremendous growth over the past few years:
- Two Opportunity Centers opened their doors in Jesup and Richmond Hill, offering vital skills training and career support.
- Three “Bit of Blue” children’s boutiques launched inside our stores, providing an affordable and curated shopping experience for families.
- New training programs in partnership with community organizations expanded access to certifications and career pathways.
- Our Manufacturing program at G-Force Manufacturing earned the prestigious Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Award-one of just six recipients in the region!

Jason Marshall, our CEO, has been part of the Goodwill team for more than 30 years. Marshall
lives here in Chatham County and is aware of the unique strengths and needs of our region. He champions our commitment to helping individuals achieve their full potential.
“In today’s changing climate, Goodwill’s services have never been more relevant or necessary,” he shares. “I am confident we will continue our success while exploring new, imaginative ways to serve others on their path to self-sufficiency.”
