Stories of Impact: SCAD Students Fuel the Cycle of Good During Move-Out!
Move-out day at SCAD means boxes, ‘have-a-great-summer’s, and for many students, a chance to give back. As they cleared out dorms and packed up for summer, SCAD students donated hundreds of gently used items to Goodwill Southeast Georgia.
From appliances and clothing to furniture and décor, these donations are not only helping to keep usable items out of the landfill, they are fueling the Cycle of Good!
Every item sold in our stores helps fund local job training programs and career services at our 6
Opportunity Centers. These Centers open doors for neighbors right here in Southeast Georgia, including more than 4,800 individuals last year alone. Through personalized coaching, certifications, and
partnerships with local technical colleges and community organizations, we help individuals build meaningful pathways to their goals through education and work.
