Stories of Impact: 2025 Bank of America Student Leaders®

This National Intern Day, we’re spotlighting two local, student changemakers-Kaiya Hall and Camdyn Jones-who just wrapped up an inspiring 7-week experience with Goodwill Southeast Georgia through the 2025 Bank of America Student Leaders® program.

As a capstone to their summer journey, Kaiya and Camdyn traveled to Washington, D.C. last week for a week-long, all-expenses-paid national leadership summit organized by Bank of America. There, they connected with fellow Student Leaders® from across the country.

Now, Kaiya is heading to college to study public relations, while Camdyn, a rising high school senior, plans to pursue marketing, and make a positive impact on the community through pursuing environmental and nonprofit opportunities. During their time in the Bank of America Student Leaders® program, they sharpened their skills in leadership, workforce development, marketing, and content creation.

One of their favorite experiences? A hands-on day at Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s Eisenhower retail store, where they learned the full journey of a donation. They explored the process from drop-off to the sales floor-and how every step supports Goodwill’s Opportunity Centers, where people can receive free skills training and career development services.

The students shared more about the highlights of their experience and what they learned during the Bank of America Student Leaders® program on the Good News Pod. Check out their interview below:

But their creativity didn’t stop there.

  • Kaiya developed a vibrant magazine aimed at engaging the next generation of Goodwill donors and shoppers. Her project blended style tips, career advice, and a deep dive into Goodwill’s mission.
  • Camdyn designed a series of engaging and interactive, game show-style activities that brought Goodwill’s mission and values to life in a fun, memorable way.

We’ve been truly inspired by Kaiya and Camdyn’s passion and innovation. Their work reminds us that the future is bright-and it’s being shaped by young leaders like them.
